Walter White and Jessie Pinkman stand in a dimly lit restaurant. One of them stands behind the counter. The other in front of it.
Jessie: Yo Mr. White, I’m sure we could make, like, mad cash with this joint!
Mr. White: Jessie, running a restaurant is a serious business. You first have to design a balanced menu, knowing how to cook every meal that’s on it. Do you know that even the simplest recipes require savoir-faire? Then there’s the daily logistic, be it for food, or drinks. Creating an identity for the place. An interior with something unique, that makes people remember it. There’s developing a clientele, the marketing operations it requires. Regular customers make for 70% of a restaurant’s turnover, but it’s an asset that is built over months, not weeks, nor days.
Jessie: Yeah sure Genius! But what if we just served booze to people? Wouldn’t that make everything easier? The logistic and all.
Mr. White: Well Jessie… Maybe, for once, you might be right.
